Living and raising a family in the Emirates for nearly three decades has given me a deep appreciation for the country’s rich culture, traditions, and values. This perspective enables me to understand local families’ expectations and to foster meaningful, trusting relationships with students, parents, and the broader community.

With 30 years of experience in the UAE’s education sector, I have dedicated my career to building inclusive, student-centered learning environments that balance academic rigor with emotional well-being. Educated in Scotland at the University of Glasgow, I bring a strong foundation in academic excellence, which I have applied across a range of senior leadership roles in both British and American curriculum schools throughout Abu Dhabi.

I was a founding staff member during Abu Dhabi’s landmark education reform initiatives, contributing to lasting systemic improvements that continue to shape the landscape of public education. For the past decade, I have served as Vice Principal at Ajyal Al Falah School, where I have led with a commitment to excellence, innovation, and strong home-school partnerships. My leadership is grounded in collaboration, a deep respect for local values, and a dedication to nurturing future-ready learners who are confident, responsible, and deeply connected to their cultural identity.
